As well as our regular provision we offer a whole host of music services for education and care settings which are available on request.
Our team is experienced in the design of research projects as well as compiling and writing case studies for individuals or groups. Whilst not a standard service, we are always looking to expand ours and the disciplines’ horizons and are therefore open to suggestion and collaboration with clinicians and carers from all backgrounds.
Our current research projects include a compilation of case studies detailing the development of gross motor skills in clients with acquired brain injury through drumming.
Service Development & Consultation
If you are seeking to build your own music sessions as a part of your organization's service then our practitioners are available to advise in all aspects of development including:
. Equipment/Studio Development
. Design and Implementation of Service Evaluation Tools
. Session plans and activity analyses
. Training for staff
Reports & Clinical Notes
As a standard we offer all sessions as inclusive of clinical notes and 12-week reports. We are committed to the clinical benefits of therapeutic music and as such engage fully in the process of sharing observations and expertise with clinicians. Our notes and reports are flexible in format and content and can be tailored to focus on specific outcomes or goals set by clinicians. Whilst we are predominantly an OT aligned service, we occasionally work closely with other disciplines and are more than happy to share expertise across the MDT.
